This is an extraordinary time with the COVID-19 epidemic accelerating. We aren’t aware of enough details about the disease for us to offer relief, and many have passed away.
Eat This, Not That! The team of Eat This, Not That! We gathered online to share some of our dishes from the quarantine area, to aid one another in this difficult period of time.
We would be delighted to show you how to make our creations.
1. Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread
“I used my mom’s recipe for banana-nut bread, but I added dark chocolate bits to it. I believe chocolate makes everything better. Bake it at 350°F for 50 minutes. The top will be slightly crispy, but leave the inside is soft and moist. The sarma recept kulinarika chocolate inside is fantastic. There’s nothing better than just some of each. I prefer the chocolate and walnuts. This bread is delicious and delicious.
2. Shakshuka
“I was out walking one Sunday and saw my favorite hummus shop opening the market to sell their products. They also had freshly baked pita bread. It made me hungry for shakshuka. I could have prepared the ETNT version of shakshuka, or the Italian version eggs-in-purgatory, but I chose to make my own with ingredients I could find in my pantry and fridge.
Sauteed onions and peppers, garlic, fire-roasted tomatoes, and four eggs. The breakfast is served with feta cheese and chopped parsley. I kept the pita breads in freezers and then cooked each one whenever I needed.
3. Philly Cheesesteaks
My mom cooked Philly Cheesesteaks, with onions and bell peppers. Mama served the potato with baked potatoes. I love to dip them in the Trader Joe’s organic, organic ketchup. To enhance the flavor of my cheesesteak, I tossed mayonnaise and some cheese. To make the meal even more vibrant, I tossed strawberries on my plate. Side note: A toasted bun is 100 % the best choice.
4. Lentil Soup
While working from home, I’ve been enjoying lentil soup as a lunch. You can make it at home using the ingredients available in your pantry or you can buy it already made and then freeze it. I am a big Ina Garten lover. We share the same town. Since the beginning of the week, she’s been posting simple recipes to Instagram. Her Stewed Tomatoes & Lentils recipe has inspired me to create my own version.
5. Grits + Toast + Egg
My husband and me have different schedules at work. My husband is usually asleep after returning home at night, and I am up when I go to work each day. It is now possible to have brunch with me while I work from home. We’ll be having bacon, eggs, fruit toast, and, occasionally, grits. It’s not fancy but it’s a chance for us to enjoy time with friends in positive situations.
